Association "Studyukr" consists of the leading
universities and colleges of Ukraine and offers

of growth of the number of students in Ukraine
is one of the highest in the world. Nowadays
there are 2,3 millions of
students in Ukraine (it is 400
students per 10 thousands
of population of Ukraine).
In the field of education Ukraine now cooperates
with more than 100 countries.
Ministry of education and science (MES) has
not only agreements between governments, but
also agreements with corresponding departments
in other countries. Lately the amounts of
cooperation with international organizations,
funds, programs and projects increased greatly
also.
Almost all of 315 Ukrainian
higher educational institutions teach international
students. Before starting the study
almost of all them learnt at the preparatory
departments. About 90 percent
of the students study in Ukrainian
state language, others complete the education
in Russian.
At the present time there are more than 20000 international
students who study in
the country, more 18000 of them pay for their
education. The cost of education at the preparatory
department is relatively cheap as well as
the cost for undergraduates, graduates and there are short-term
training/courses such as CISCO,MSCE,ACCA,MS PACKAGES
The greatest number of foreign students study in English language
in higher educational institutions of Kharkov,Ternopoli,Odessa,Luganks,Sumi
(4500) and Kiev (4100).
Among these students predominate the citizens
of Asian and African countries.
